2019: On Saturday, October 5, TASCHEN Brussels hosted Ai Weiwei for an early morning book signing.
Since the artist was visiting Brussels to receive the Academy Prize from the Royal Academy of Belgium, we took this chance to offer our customers the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the living legend.
Ai was joined by the mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close, and by the end of the event the store had completely sold out of its stock of his monograph.
