2024: On the evening of November 13 in London, Marlene Taschen and Dr Gabriele Finaldi, Director of The National Gallery, hosted a special preview celebration of the bicentenary book The National Gallery: Paintings, People, Portraits.
We were delighted to welcome our guests to The National Gallery’s iconic Barry Rooms for an unforgettable first look at this highly anticipated publication. Guests included friends and major donors of The National Gallery, as well as the book’s contributors – photographers Mary McCartney, David Dawson, and Massimo Listri, and artists including Sahara Longe and George Shaw. The evening also attracted many of London’s cultural luminaries, including Ruthie Rogers, John Pawson, and Hannah Rothschild.
