(Junior) Prepress / Production Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks
This position can either be based in Cologne (Germany) or in Milan (Italy).
- Reliable planning and timely execution of projects
- Obtaining quotations, coordinating external reproduction companies
- Evaluating, reviewing and correcting press proofs, color proofs and print results
- Liaise between editorial and production
- Assisting in the development of new products and designs
Your profile
- Qualified training in pre-press/reproduction, media design or a relevant course of study
- Several years of relevant work experience
- Sound general knowledge of the program we publish (photography, pop culture, music, history, art, architecture, etc.)
- Confident in handling standard DTP programs
- Excellent written and spoken English, German and italian proficiency is a plus
- Very good IT skills
- A confident and friendly presence in an international business environment
- Experience in customer contact
- Accountability, cost and quality awareness
- Ability to work under pressure, commitment, organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
