TASCHEN Store Berlin welcomes the artist
2017: On the evening of February 13, TASCHEN Store Berlin added a prestigious event to the city’s busy Berlinale calendar with a Christo book signing. Hundreds of fans of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s work flocked to meet the artist, who signed copies of his books.

Excited guests young and old included celebrated German actor Udo Kier. Christo and Jeanne-Claude are particularly cherished in Berlin ever since their wrapping of the historic Reichstag in 1995. The project drew more than five million visitors in two weeks.
